A bioethanol fireplace makes a statement – with a real flame, without wood or ash. Before choosing a model, it is worth looking at the type – it determines how the fireplace works in the room.
1. Wall-mounted fireplace – the floating flame
Wall-mounted fireplaces are fixed to the wall and look like a picture made of fire. They save floor space and suit living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces. Our models range from compact formats up to 120 cm in width, optionally with a glass panel.
2. Freestanding fireplace – flexible placement
Freestanding models range from small tabletop fireplaces to sculptural pieces for the living space. Many are simply set up; please observe the information on the base and fixing in the instructions.
3. Mantel fireplace – the classic look
Mantel fireplaces combine the appearance of a traditional fireplace with a bioethanol burner. They are an eye-catcher on a calm wall; many models offer a glass panel and an adjustable flame. Depending on the model, fixing to the wall is required.
4. Burners and inserts – for bespoke solutions
If you would like to use a piece of furniture, a niche or an existing fireplace, you can integrate a burner or insert. Planning is especially important here: dimensions, distances and ventilation must suit the installation – if in doubt, with professional advice.
What to look for in every model
- Size: choose the width to suit the wall or furniture – a fireplace looks best with some space around it.
- Glass panel: it shields the flame and keeps the flame picture calmer in a draught.
- Burner capacity: it determines how long one filling lasts. You will find the figures in the product details.
- Finish: many models are available in several colours – from textured black and gloss white to bronze or stainless steel.
