Terms and conditions

1. Scope and contact

These terms apply to orders placed with IgnisLumina.ch via ignislumina.ch for delivery to Switzerland. Contact: Mateusz Szafruga Handel & Dienstleistungen (IgnisLumina.ch), Schutzengelstrasse 4A, 6340 Baar, Switzerland; info@ignislumina.ch.

2. Products and order

The selected product, the variant and the information on the product page are decisive. Before ordering, check dimensions, features and suitability for the intended location. A product enquiry is not an order.

Handmade products of the Living art collection (furniture, lamps, wall clocks and candles) are made by hand from natural materials such as solid wood and epoxy resin. Grain, knots, colour gradient and dimensions may therefore differ slightly from the images; such material-typical deviations are not a defect as long as the agreed properties are met.

Certain accessories (e.g. fuel, spare parts, decorative stones or matches) can only be ordered together with a fireplace or a scented candle; this is stated on the product page.

At checkout you can check and correct the product, quantity, delivery address and payment method before the binding completion. By completing the order you place a binding order on the terms shown. We confirm receipt by e-mail. A purchase contract is concluded when we expressly accept the order or ship the goods. If an order is not accepted, we refund any payments already made.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in CHF. They are final prices including VAT and import costs. From an order value of CHF 300, delivery within Switzerland is included; for orders below CHF 300 a flat shipping fee of CHF 29 is charged, which is shown at checkout before completion. No additional import costs will be charged to you. The available payment methods and the total amount payable are shown at checkout.

4. Delivery

We deliver exclusively to Switzerland. Bioethanol fireplaces, fuel and accessories are delivered within up to 7 working days of completing the order; for payment methods with later receipt of payment, from receipt of payment. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Handmade products of the Living art collection are made after your order. The delivery time stated on the respective product page applies, running from completion of the order or from receipt of payment. If an order contains products with different delivery times, they may be delivered separately at no extra cost to you.

If a product or variant shows «Delivery time on request», we confirm the delivery date after the order. If the date does not suit you, you can cancel the order at no cost; any payments already made will be refunded in full.

We organise direct delivery from our suppliers in Poland, including transport and import clearance. Should an unexpected delay occur, we will inform you. Statutory claims in the event of non-delivery or delay remain unaffected.

Installation as an additional service

Product prices do not include installation. Self-installation according to the instructions is possible where the model and local regulations allow. On request, Mateusz Szafruga offers an installation visit. Scope, price and date are agreed separately in advance. No additional costs arise without your express consent.

5. Voluntary return

You can register a voluntary return of an unused product by e-mail within 14 days of receipt. You bear the transport costs of the voluntary return. After registering, you will receive the return address and shipping instructions. After receipt and inspection, we refund the purchase price of the unused returned product via the original payment method; from this we deduct the costs we actually incurred for delivering the goods to you (shipping or freight forwarding and import clearance). No deduction is made for defects, transport damage or incorrect deliveries. Products made to your individual specifications (e.g. custom dimensions or colours) are excluded from voluntary return. 6. Warranty, transport damage and safety

The statutory warranty is 2 years from delivery of the goods. Check the goods on receipt and report recognisable defects as soon as possible. Please have any visible damage to the packaging noted on the delivery receipt by the driver and take photos of it. In the case of a defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered product, we will agree the appropriate handling with you, in particular repair, replacement, price reduction or rescission. The voluntary right of return limits neither your statutory warranty rights nor other mandatory claims; the 14-day return period does not apply across the board to defects. A manufacturer's guarantee does not replace your statutory rights against the seller.

Before installation and use, observe the instructions for the specific model, the approved fuels, ventilation and safety distances. Our safety information supplements the product documents. For candles and lamps, the safety and usage information on the product page and in the packaging applies.

Use appliances and fuel only as instructed. For damage resulting solely from improper use, unsuitable fuel or unauthorised modifications, we are liable only where liability is required by law. Liability for intent, gross negligence and other mandatory grounds of liability is not excluded.

7. Data protection and applicable law

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our privacy policy. Swiss law applies, subject to mandatory statutory provisions. Mandatory rights of consumers, including statutory places of jurisdiction, remain unaffected.

Insofar as an agreement on jurisdiction is legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Zug. For consumers, the mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction apply; they are not restricted by the above agreement.
